Custom end links...

So I came out to tinker today with a new set of coilovers I got for christmas and I ran into my first problem.

I installed a new detroit speed swaybar into the front of my 4thgen camaro. Im getting ready to install Coleman hubs and swap the front bushings for poly as well. Apparently, the bar was not made considering I might be using brackets to upgrade my front brakes because it causes a serious interference problem.

While it appears that I could bring out the grinder to modify the bracket and swaybar to fit better, I think a better solution would be to use a longer endlink...If I webt 1 1/2 inches longer there would be no problem.

This is an adjustable bar...it uses c5 style end links. It uses the flats cut into the end to positively locate the stud.

Any suggestions on how I can piece together a new set of custom links?

Best I can tell is I need a HD joint with a stud, m12x1.75, 6" overall length. Preferably greaseable with a grease boot. Basically, a longer HD corvette front end link.

I figured I could put a short turnbuckle in between the two and call it a day. Havent found anything ready to go available online though.

It will need to be Fabricate from 4130 Chromoly and Aurora Rod end spherical bearings.
TIG Welded together.

I found some 12mm endlinks by whiteline that look as if they'll work so I ordered up a set. Ill see in the next week if it does. If not I'll just have to bite the bullet and fab up some.

I looked all over for 12mm balljoint style ends like what are used on the newer vettes, couldnt find them. That would have been too easy I suppose.
