don't over fill your oil pan/crank case

the videos interesting, but if you put a good deal more than two quarts of oil over the oil pan capacity in most v8 engines,
the engine will generally smoke and foul the spark plugs as massive oil flow leaks past the rings.
having a 7-8 quart baffled oil pan is generally a great idea, adding a oil cooler and an accusump,
running an extra quart of oil will generally not hurt anything.
that will keep the bearings well pressurized, well at least for a few extra seconds,
while you shut down, after realizing something's obviously gone wrong,
greatly reducing the engines internal damage in many cases as this can usually reduce the engines internal damage.

if something drastic happened to the oil pan it is a good back-up plan.
but keep in mind the main reason you wanted a 7-8 quart baffled oil pan and an accusump, is its very likely to prevent or avoid your engine entering a condition where lack of oil caused the engine damage to begin with.
