I would guess aftermarket.. When I was a teenager I was big into 327 engines..Especially the small journal cranks. They were alot of fun
when you destroked them with a 283 crank. I have never seen valve covers like those in the pic. But...I very well could be wrong.

This came into the wrecking yard. Couldn't pull the motor but I was gonna yank the valve covers if they were original GM .....which they were not.....
