one of the guys I know here in Texas hunts with a marlin 444 caliber rifle,
but hes never used hand loads or cast bullets, before, but hes learning
I suggested he start a few months back and he ordered the bullet mold, reload dies etc,
I suggested, and he purchased sizing dies and some IMR 4198 powder.
he bought some stuff like resizing press, gas checks, etc, he used locally.

well we loaded some with 41 grains of IMR 4198 and a 215 fed primer and those 310 grain lee bullets and hes getting about 2",
5 shot hundred yards groups with that first load, and since hes using iron peep sights, he had a local gunsmith install, thats impressive!
