But I’ll post it anyway.
I hired a neighborhood kid to help me with yard work weekly and yesterday I met his father. He owns an industrial park nearby and he was a car nut until about 10 years ago. He invited me to see some “clutter” he’s been sitting on but now has to make space.

After nearly 2 hours in 96% humidity in this warehouse going through a seemingly endless amount of crates I had all that I could take. I felt like one of those guys on that TV show, American Pickers. There may have been some great stuff for someone, just nothing for me. He had a few cars, mostly in parts, a couple would take too much money to restore it just didn’t make sense to try.

A 1965 Sunbeam Tiger convertible with a small block Ford motor. No wiring, no interior and an abundance of rust. I wasn’t allowed to take any pictures however he did say he would forward me some photos when he gets “things organized a bit more.”
A 1962, AC Bristol with a flathead 6. Every panel was a different color, no title.
An old Henry J, A Rambler American with a 401 V8 and Dodge I couldn’t make heads or tails what it was, looked like an A body with a 340 dual thermoquads. Grill not found, no name plates, a rusted pile of crap!

Engines that were a steal were all seized, everything boxed up and a 426 Hemi head, I couldn’t find the other one.
The surprise of the day, this was a packing center for NAPA Auto parts. There was rows of printing presses, inking screens and painting conveyers. They were set up doing relabeling WIX filters. So this is my big news, WIX makes filters for NAPA Auto Parts.
