if tweaked correctly with a good lawyer this case and its legal precedent fall out might
allow a huge increase in the loss of restrictions that currently exist
remember the WHOLE NFA is based on emotional political reactions in 1934 ,
not under constitutional law, even back then it was considered UN-constitutional
but pushed through as "WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING"
as always the liberal left even then chose to restrict the rights of those 99% plus doing nothing wrong
rather than holding the less than 1% commiting crimes responsible

it looks like the ATFE is in for another BIG LOSS!
they got caught trying to re-define the laws LEGAL definitions ,that relate to forced reset triggers AND the function of other parts,
the ATFe was caught trying to re-define what a MACHINE GUN IS, to expand the agency reach by a quantum leap.
the way the ATFE wants it, is "IF WE SAY ITS A MACHINE GUN< JUST THE FACT THAT WE SAID IT,THAT MAKES IT ONE!"

the logical "FEAR" most reasonable people have, after witnessing how twisted the biden administration,
warped the goals of the ATFE management, is that if the agency exists in anything close to its current form,
it can rapidly be restructured , and empowered, to be FAR WORSE under a subsequent administration than it is & was under BIDENS liberal grasp,
if the agency is no longer in existence it takes a whole lot more, politically and financially and legally, to reinstate it from scratch.
any legally binding restrictions are simply either ignored or voted away under a liberal administration bent on civilian disarmament to mandate total unlimited government controls

I doubt we will see this but it would be great if it was done at some point,
or at least if the regs were significantly opened for civilian ownership options,
its insane that the military can purchase the same weapons for much less than 10% of what it costs,
for a very well vetted absurdly well documented civilian pays for the identical tool or weapon,
the vast majority, of " LEGAL ,MACHINE GUN OWNERS" are collectors, and there's been zero legally owned machine gun crime
