I have been pulled over while carrying and each time I told them before I was asked I told them that I was carrying the cop seemed like he relaxed after I told him
 
yeah thats been a rather common reaction, I suppose because a very high percentage of adult males in FLA and TEXAS do carry,
many have licences and its legal, so if you point it out up front, and have a friendly demeanor, the cops can reasonably assume
you are not trying to hide anything, and you are unlikely to be up to no good!

I worked in a police officers home and my helper told him that I carried so he asked me to see my gun and I told him that because I knew he was a cop I locked it in the truck because I thought that he wouldn't like it and he actually got pissed and hollered at me saying you go out and get that thing and don't take it off for anybody. He turned out to be a real nice guy after I finished up his wood stove he showed me his collection and he did tell me this that if I ever have to use my gun in self defense empty the mag in them and if I carry A spare empty it in them too

(1) use your turn signals,roll down your window, keep hands on steering wheel, be polite
remain silent, don't talk.

(2) hand over your licence and registration if asked

(3) do not answer questions, do not consent to vehicle search
ask for a lawyer if things start going badly, keep your mouth shut.
any and everything you say can be twisted to say you consented to a search,
or can be twisted against you. the less you say the less they have to work against you with.

(4) officer am I free to leave
