ok gentlemen clue me in on the newer trucks and drive train options,
Im going to need to purchase a new or at least not more than 3 year old, full size truck, truck for my upcoming move,
and something I'll use for daily transportation at least for a few years, what's the best choice?
CHEVY, GMC,FORD? (I don"t think I want a dodge or nissan, honda at least from what I've seen and heard ,
as they are smaller or in the case of dodge I don't hear good reviews from current owners))
I want to purchase something with outstanding long term durability
I want a true 4x4 drive,
(all wheels provide power/traction when 4x4 is engaged, not just two rear and one front tire))
crew cab truck, with a back-up camera, heavy duty cooling , heavy duty differential etc.
personally I prefer a manual transmission,
but an automatic with overdrive is obviously much more popular.
I really prefer GAS vs DIESEL, and obviously would prefer reasonable mileage, so tips on available drive train/engines would be great.
I will want air conditioning, and something bluetooth/computer compatible, sure would be nice,
ID need a heavy duty towing/ cooling package set up for a 2" trailer ball back-up/trailer lights etc.
for my car trailer
now Ive done some very minor window shopping and prices are insane,
but Im a bit less concerned with cost than I am with finding the most durable heavy duty trouble free truck with the least potential problems
what should I avoid, and what to look into?
