maybe Im getting senile but I can't remember, I have a friend who wants to buy a set of crank V-belt and V-belt water pump pulleys
to use on a 1974 454 bbc corvette hes restoring
do sbc water pump pulleys enter change swap, with big block chevy water pump pulleys
or put a different way can you use/bolt a sbc water pump pulley on a BBC water pump?'
or a BBC pump pulley bolt on a sbc water pump?
and yeah I know vee belt alignment issues and spacers might be required

I'd call / email CVF that exact question. I've sent them a great many back-and-forth emails on my accessories, and SBC Corvette pulleys and they always have very detailed and thorough answers to questions like this.

(I do wish they had non-underdrive crank pulleys for SBC Corvettes, but given that so many OEM-style, stamped impeller water pumps will cavitate before they get near 6,000 RPM, I guess it IS understandable. -AFAIK, NO ONE makes non under-driven aluminum Corvette crank pulleys for C3 Corvettes today, which is a shame if you go with a good water pump capable of higher RPMs and for alternator low RPM performance, IMHO...)
