karambits, the blade most guys under estimate

now I,ve spent decades learning to use several very different blade or edge weapon's,
and its a skill set that takes a great deal of practice, to become both fast and effective
and each person tends to find a type of edge weapon they prefer.
now obviously Its not something you'll get to use, under the real intended applications,
unless things go terribly wrong with modern society , but I find it rather interesting

I respect the karambit design

but prefer the KUKRI
I can tell you from experience that a skilled and practiced guy with two kukris,
would be damn dangerous, in any edged weapon confrontation

as he has exceptional cutting slashing , chopping and ability to block, parry, and disarm almost any opponents blade, and decent reach and the ability to stay out of the effective reach of many opponents,
but as with all skill sets,
its that
skill and constant practice and familiarity with the tools,
not the tools themselves

a decent piece of steel at this price

yes you'll need to practice extensively to become proficient , with this style blade,
but its potentially in the trained hands a very effective defensive blade

these are not karambits in the video, but still impressive & interesting

yet I still think the KUKRI blades a far superior combo of tool and weapon
cold steels serious versions very well made, maybe the best blade steel available, but absurdly expensive

at about 1/5th the price the import versions well made, and a better value in my opinion
its made from spring steel and its easy to sharpen and holds an edge well in my experience
