on the subject of lowering cars, grumpy with the independent suspension on my c4 i notice my tires wear uneven on the inside due to the new camber angle from lowering... is there a factory adjustment for this (no i havent got a service manual yet even tho its been over a year since you told me to get one

Dirt track caster camber guages would help.
Access to a 4-wheel alignment machine.

there are also adjustable upper ball joints made for this very issue. Other wise lowering should be done via drop spindle
