Mickey Thompson 3-Valve Chevy V8 Engine

all those exotic parts, that would easily cost $ over $100k and 50 years later the technology advances make that power level FAR easier
and much cheaper to obtain.
RICKS T-bucket engine could rather easily be modified to exceed those power numbers with a few part upgrades
