WOW! for the first time in the last 8 years I don,t have some one elses cars in my shop!
my B.I.LAW took his 1974 BBC corvette home!
(it was the off and on project in the center of the shop for 7 plus years,)
my neighbor came and got his corvette, that had been sitting for over a year from the time he dropped it off for a brake upgrade,
( it was completely repaired, for over 11 months now, but he moved, just as he dropped it off, and had no place to park it in his new location until his garage was built so he left it!...till yesterday)
I can actually pull my own cars in and out without moving someone elses car, first, that may sound strange but I think Im going to like that for as long as it might last!
I don,t think I can stand all this free space......I took down the temporary paint booth, I moved a few engines and I actually have the ability to walk across the shop without dodging cars up on jack stands..its an amazing feeling!
but after I stop grinning, from ear to ear,and giggling softly to myself... IM sure going to TRY!
I don,t mind a bit working on cars that come and go, or even ones that stay a few days, but when you start to get used to thinking about how you can play musical cars just to get access to your own car in an 8 car garage it gets old after awhile!
(now I just need to get about 1/4 of the floor space back from the wife she uses to store house related crap, like old furniture and boxes of crap she has not looked in for 12 years or more, some of which never got unpacked from the last house where it was stored... she NEVER allows me top pitch old
"GOOD STUFF" in the dumpster, were never going to use, but she won,t allow me to pitch in the dump!.....I think some of the stuff just might walk off on its own.., as in sorry dear I don,t know where it was or is!
