How much work is it to port match these two components,do they work well together without a lot of extra massaging?

read this thread it may help

yes the components work well together PROVIDED,
you build the engine to have at least 11.5:1 compression minimum,
a 377-406 would be ideal,
and make its power in the 4000rpm-6500 rpm power band
and use a matched drive train, gearing to the power band,
probably a roller cam with about a 245-250 duration 106-108 lsa and maybe something like
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/lun-20120713
matched to a 4.11:1 rear gear and a higher stall converter or a manual transmission,
and ideally in a reasonably light weight car like a nova, camaro etc.
