I've been running Accel 437S plugs in my car. It's a 355, flattops, double hump heads, Comp Cams .525 life & 248 @.050 duration. They seem a little cold. I can't seem to find any listings that tell me what they are equivalent to. I ran Autolite 86 plugs for awhile & they seemed good. I need shorty plugs for header clearance. Thanks in advance.

how deep are the threads in the double hump heads your using,
if the current Accel 437S plugs don't fully fill the head thread length the spark plug electrode and ground strap will be recessed away from the combustion chamber into the heads

verifying your real advance curve
you need to start by verifying TDC on the timing tab and damper actually show TRUE TDC. IF that base line (TDC on CRANK AND TIMING TAB) is not correct, everything done after that is based on that TDC, will be wrong...

If you can use MS Excel, I have created spreadsheet with over 3,000 spark plugs cross referenced. If no Excel possible there is also a link to the info I used. It's just hard to visually look thru all the info, where the Excel has filters to narrow down the results.
