Preval System For Small Jobs

I've had a very small leak this last year, so I took it to C&B Pump Rebuilders that's been around
since the 1970's. Greg Dobson tested (vacuum test) it for leaks around the seal and found nothing
and didn't charge me a cent. I had removed the impeller back cover to do something ( can't
remember why) so I thought that might be my leak. We had a long talk about the automotive
business, it was fun reminiscing about the old times. My dad (born in 1911) bought from his
company for his M&W Auto Supply business, so we had lots to talk about.

OK, so why did I post this in the Auto Body section of the forum ??? I had one of Preval Sprayers
but forgot about it, I just learned about the Preval Sprayer about 6 months ago. Therefore I
didn't get a really nice smooth surface on the water pump with a brush and a chance to try out
the Preval System. The paint was gone under the week hole, but that was before C&B repaired
the pump 2-3 years ago.

The Preval System would be very convenient for touch ups in most any situation where you
need to use a paint that does not come in a rattle can.

I tried to fix this while I had the pump off for testing and resealing the rear cover.

If it still leaks, then I should be able to tell if it is leaking from the weep hole.

Ok..i'll bite.. Is the canister pre charged when you buy it. Or do you pressurize it yourself?

No trickery here, you should know me better than that !

Wish I had remembered that I had it, the water pump would have looked much better than
the foam brush touchup I did.

Sorry Rick.. I did not mean to imply anything.. What I meant was .... I have never heard of that product, and I was wondering how it gets charged. It looks to be something that would be useful in my barn.
