yes TEXAS changed the state laws to allow,
SUPPRESSORS, SB-RIFLEs , SB-SHOTGUNS
and home made SUPPRESSORS MADE IN TEXAS AND ONLY USED IN TEXAS,
MADE FROM PARTS BOUGHT IN TEXAS , BY TEXANS ,EXEMPT
unfortunately the FEDS are having a SHIT-FIT over that

To legally own a suppressor in Texas, you still need to comply with federal law by completing an ATF Form 4, paying the $200 tax stamp, and undergoing a background check. While a legislative challenge to eliminate the federal tax stamp passed in 2025 and takes effect in 2026, Texas residents must continue to follow federal rules until then.

yeah you just can not keep up with the constant ever changing, B.S. and half truth's in A.I. statements or in the videos ,
but it's partly understandable because you're dealing with ,
a bunch of backstabbing and lying politicians, being reported on by a liberal media,
that's being dragged kicking and screaming in total denial to and potential progress made,
in reducing restrictions or allowing more open firearm laws.. they choke on the idea that
"they, the liberal political left are not able to mandate the laws as they wish too."
you can't force free and armed people, by mandates from "ON HIGH" this infuriates the left wing

THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT POTENTIALLY IMPROVEMENT
and has a decent chance of passing into law, at the current time!

looks like progress is being made, this bill on permanently prohibiting the registration of records of sb rifles and suppressors
has demanded the old 1934 NFA rules, on suppressors and short barrel length rifles be permanently destroyed, no new entries will be allowed, current records must be totally and permanently destroyed
,no transfer to any new or existing archive or other agency,
and introduces NEW MANDATORY personal fines of up to $100,000 per item,
included, in any new list to be paid personally, by any employee,
to make it financially highly prohibitive, if any government employee or agency personnel who tries to enforce
, maintain or build a new registry ,for or on suppressors and short barrel length rifles
it's already passed the house today.. :like: its now in the senate

the NFA has lost most of its ability to legally tax or regulate under,
several NFA laws through A RECENT SCOTUS RULING,
but that does not mean they are giving up, on R GAVE UP, trying to enforcing,
those old laws or marginally redefining old laws under new posted law DEFINITIONS.
bureaucrats hate giving up controlling, or defining
,LAWS PROTECTING THEIR OLD POWER , OR REVENUE SOURCES,THEY MAINTAINED FOR DECADES,
any hint of recently lost power, through A RECENT SCOTUS RULING,
or demanding THEY RETAIN, OR PREVENT THE huge loss in revenues thru taxes
"REGISTRATION STAMPS" THEY HAD FOR OVER 90 YEARS.
once SCOTUS became aware that the NFA and ATFE had been slowly but constantly and consistently been using the NFA law enforcement as basically a huge revenue source they control and expand as they wanted, through redefining definitions congress never intended them to re-define, or expand those laws.
EVEN IF SCOTUS RULES SAY THEY NO LONGER HOLD THAT POWER TO TAX AND DEMAND REVENUE, TAX STAMPS.
