Service 4wd Drive Light Chevy Tahoe Gmc Yukon 4x4 Switch Repair 1992-1999

I swapped out the Transfer case Shift Endoder motor yesterday on the 1999 Chevy Tahoe.
Also the the Front Differential Actuator Linear motor.
They are P.I.A. to troubleshoot.
Best way is to parts swap substitute with known good spare parts before buying brand new.
Suspected the dash switch was also going faulty.

Used to be a rare issue faulty GM 4x4 pushbutton switch assembly, but electronics do age fail or Performance is intermittent.
Bought a new 4x4 pushbutton switch assembly made by Dorman from Amazon last night.
Shows it will be here next Thursday .
 
glad to hear the replacement parts from DORMAN work correctly,
Ive found most of the parts DORMAN supplied do work, with only one exception so far
I purchased a thermal sensor for my 1996 vette that was factory defective,
it makes you a bit crazy when you isolate a defective sensor part.. swap it out for new one and nothing changes!!!

Crapshoot always Grumpy.
At mercy of Parts builders.
Thinking how Awefull it is with Crane Cams Gone now.
