this is CRITICAL!! THIS IS PROOF THAT the NFA,
was set up to demand taxes for firearm ownership
(totally unconstitutional)
the idea was to make you ,or any firearm owner, prohibited,

from ownership through taxing and denying your constitutional rights
making anyone guilty of TAX EVASION if you own a listed and taxed firearm, (totally unconstitutional)
THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT POTENTIALLY IMPROVEMENT

and has a decent chance of passing into law, at the current time!

looks like progress is being made, this bill on permanently prohibiting the registration of records of sb rifles and suppressors
has demanded the old 1934 NFA rules, on suppressors and short barrel length rifles be permanently destroyed, no new entries will be allowed, current records must be totally and permanently destroyed
,no transfer to any new or existing archive or other agency,

and introduces NEW MANDATORY personal fines of up to $100,000 per item,
included, in any new list to be paid personally, by any employee,
to make it financially highly prohibitive, if any government employee or agency personnel who tries to enforce
, maintain or build a new registry ,for or on suppressors and short barrel length rifles
it's already passed the house today.. its now in the senate

this constant judicial tactic of kicking the can down the road,
so someone else can make the final declaration of fact!
to point out that, the second amendment means
EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS,

THIS political crap must stop!
there's at least a ABSOLUTE MINIMUM of 40 MILLION semi auto rifles CURRENTLY already in civilian hands,
many unregistered

a far from complete list
and that number has been and will continue to increase significantly every year
There's no exact, definitive number for the total number of semi-automatic rifles in the US. Estimates vary, but there are roughly 38 million magazine-fed, semi-automatic rifles. (that the government knows exist in civilian hand)This doesn't include handguns, which are also considered semi-automatic, bringing the total to over 200 million. Additionally, there are an estimated 19.8 million AR-15 style rifles in circulation. (an absurdly low estimate as there have been millions sold most years since the 1960s)
In 2020, the US imported or manufactured a record 2.8 million AR-15 and AK-style rifles. This represents a significant increase from earlier estimates, with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) estimating almost 20 million of these rifles in circulation by 2018. Some estimates suggest that the total number of firearms in circulation in the US is over or under 400 million, which is greater than the total US population.
(the true numbers are MUCH larger as most people know buy KITS) as customizing an AR15 build is very easy and cheaper

The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
The text of the amendment is:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State,
the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.".

Interpretations of this amendment often include the idea that a well-armed populace can be a check on a potential tyrannical government.

The Founding Fathers envisioned the militia as all able-bodied male citizens capable of bearing arms. This included citizens of both the federal and state governments, and a well-regulated militia was considered essential for national defense and a free state
  • All Able-Bodied Citizens:
The Founding Fathers believed the militia should consist of all able-bodied men, reflecting their understanding of a citizenry that could defend themselves and the nation.

  • State-Based System:
The militia was initially a state-based system, with individual states responsible for organizing and training their own militias.

  • Well-Regulated:
The Constitution and early legislation emphasized the importance of a "well-regulated" militia, meaning trained and disciplined to a certain standard.

  • Defense of the State:
The militia was intended to serve as a primary defense force, capable of repelling both foreign and domestic threats, and protecting the nation's liberty.

  • Balance of Power:
The Founding Fathers also saw the militia as a check against the potential tyranny of a standing army, ensuring that the citizenry could resist any potential overreach by the government.

5 states, want a blanket ban on all areas where concealed carry is legal
new york
maryland
new jersey
Hawaii
california

the supreme court is debating the states right to severely limit areas where anyone can legally carry concealed
and

ATFE wants to create a national gun registry
and ATFE has put out a contract to have a searchable digital data base built,
to make firearm owners and firearms, and your address, easily searchable and easily downloaded
(that totally illegal under current federal Law)
