Hi gearheads
Havent had time to post here long time but now i started new project
I have 67 c10 that have been sitting in garage several years so i desided to make roll gage and some suspension mods and start to drive street races in airport tracks here in finland
Engine is 402 0.60 over bbc with 702 ovalports and small solid roller twin 61 mm turbos
Transmission is th400
I swap bigger turbos fabricate new header and swap fully manual 4l80e transmission
I repared door frames allso
Here is some pictures

Thats thru grumpy, turbo charging is great way to get power from smaller engines and bbc block can stand big boost
Iw been beating that 9.4 compression 402 over 1 bar boost without intercooler

Its basicaly driveable,i did drive that in garage few years a go,missing only one ignition coil
But there is lotsof stuff to do,i do rollgage ,headers, exhaust and intercoolers and then suspension and transmission if i have time but iw gona drive it next summer

I can use my employer metal shop where is all tools that you can image
So work is fast,it took one day to bend pipes for roll gage and half hour to make pipes for header
And materials are free allso

Roll gage is ready,i didnt weld back pipes yet but i do them later
Also made seat brackets from 3mm stainless plate

Made downpipe today

Old downpipes were mildsteel and rapped with fireproof blanket, pipes were rusted padly

wrapping the headers and exhaust pipes with a thermal barrier helps increase turbo efficiency, \
but its also a sure way to increase heat and corrosion damage,
yeah, those are still impressive fabrication skills , but the thermal barrier is still not helping durability, yes its a known trade off

Now i made downpipes from stainless so no rust proplems, old headers were mild steel also but no rust
