the more I deal with people at dealerships, the more I distrust those I meet and talk with

I'm in the market for a 4x4 crew cab 4 door, pick-up truck,
as I will eventually be moving to TEXAS, and my current car has over 340 k miles:sad: and yes obviously I need a new truck,
I was driving by a ford dealership today and they had several, used CHEVY, TOYOTA and FORD used trucks on display,
the only one that looked exceptionally clean was a 2018 ford f150 with 35,000 miles on the clock.
the sticker on the window said they are asking $45,000 plus a few more FEES. close to $50k out the door,
I looked up the KELLY BLUE BOOK VALUE of that truck with the listed features
,it had and it said its listed estimated value was about $37,000 MAX
about that time a sales flunky walks over and starts telling me its a screaming deal that's not likely to last very long,
 and when I ask if he had a CARFAX on the truck,
:crying::thinking: he acted like he could not hear me, and ignored me .. going on with his obviously pre-rehearsed spiel.
Yes I know the price of used trucks is currently a bit higher than they were even a few months back as new truck prices are INSANE!!
I looked at a new 2021 version in a similar config and the window sticker said... $74,000:swearing:

not yet, but within the next 3-8 months seems rather likely
