The State Of Ammo In The Us And My Predictions On Where We're Are Heading

I’m compiling a list of the gun shops around here and boycotting them when I find them favoring their buddies! There’s so many shops around me, you can drive 10 minutes in any direction to the next shop. Last week I stopped by a shop that has recently added a 12 lane shooting range to the back of their store. I picked up my Henry that was in for a repair and I grabbed a box of 38’s and one of the 9mm. At the counter I caught eye contact between the guy on my left and the owner behind the register when I put the boxes on the counter. The owner says “I’m sorry, the 38s are another customer’s, I had a hold tag on the shelf.” I asked why if they were on hold would they be left on the shelf? Besides, there wasn’t any tag on the self. I’m sorry sir, I’m not going to argue about a box of ammo.

I left but I had to come right back

I didn’t finish, . . . . When I came back in to pick up something I forgot I saw the guy that gave the owner the “eye” he was buying my ammo!
 
learn to cast bullets and reload and in most cases lack of ammo is far less concerning.
and yeah, the guys a moron for leaving ammo hes holding for someone else on the shelf.
 
I don’t think it was anything like simply “leaving” it on the shelf. It’s more like the other guy realized I had the last box and signaled the owner that he wanted that ammo. Around here the only big stores that sell ammunition without bias is the Bass Shop/Cabelas, otherwise the rest are little single guys and they’re very cliquish.

Some owners kiss up to the cops, others to the anti-establishments. A few do anything to make a buck and the worst are those “Doomsday” freaks that give their speech and scare the ignorant. I liked it when WM sold ammo, but anymore if I can’t get it on the internet I’ll wait for one of the 7 gun shows within a reasonable distance, or even better, there’s one auction near me that has ammo in the gun auctions and I sometimes get a good price. Check online for Auctions like Alderfer Auction in Hatfield PA. Anybody can register over the phone, and bid over the internet - later have it shipped
 
It’s just like the toilet paper bs last year. Things are fine, the Ideal economy is when manufacturing has 12 weeks of warehouse inventory and when people get scared they hoard and that just screws everyone.

I am a Prepper some.
Mostly Hotrod Car Race side.
My main Strategic situation is trapped in Chicago SHTF.
Big ICBM Nuke dropped took out much.
No ones cars and trucks will start or All electric EV vehicles dead from Super Magnetic EMP Pulse blast of a Thermal Nuclear Bomb Detonated.
Points Ignition will still work and a Vertex Magneto and a Carburetor after a Nuclear EMP .
Also need a Handgun to shoot out the side windows or Old car like Pontiac side vent windows.
Get back 70-100 mph to my Farmhouse and family.
To walk take days.
Doomsday likely never walking.

It's why I chose 9 mm Doublestack Concealed carry handguns for now.
I was able to find 1000 rounds FMJ online bought and delivered to me.
Love to have larger Caliburs yet.
But if you can not get 500-700-1000 rounds for a chosen large Calibur handgun or rifle what is the point ?
Takes 1000 rounds they say to break a New modern handgun in.

I don't believe in hoarding Ammo when others need.
I buy 100-200 rounds at a time.
Stock up that way.

Just speak up get your Ammo.
