The stork is bringing me a package today

Another thing they do is have a friend always bid higher... and then when the friend wins they tell you he cancelled and you are the next highest bidder.

I always say: no deal. Do auction over. Tho I do not bid the second time.
But do you do that when you really want or need that item?

I admit I was passively looking for this bumper for at least 2 yrs. Whenever the thought crossed my mind I would zoom Craig’s lists in the lower 48 states, check eBay and do a WWW search for the bumper. I was planning on calling all the junk yards in the dry regions of the US when I finally needed to get serious about finding one.
It’s just that the rest of the car looks really nice and the rear bumper is rusted, dented and crooked and it could turn away a good buyer who doesn’t want the hassle of hunting for and installing a bumper.
Pontiac made a lot of these cars however not many survived.

I have never been so desperate for a part that overcame my reluctance to buy from a suspicious seller. Never been in that position and not sure what I would do. I have only been burned once on eBay and that was purchasing on behalf of one of my kids.

The T56 will be a good case study for me. I reeeeeaally want to do a T56 conversion and this is the first time I see one here in Europe. Let’s see how well this guy communicates. I’m not sure the gearbox is worth $1000. I may bid 5-600

How do you even know if that trans will even mate up to a sbc motor? Those transmission are $400 to $700 max here on Craig’s

The Aston Martins are notoriously over engineered and I don’t mean that in a positive way!
