to pass a law restricting your rights than it is to stop criminals from commiting crimes or solving crimes

no gun in history has ever functioned without a human loading it and causing it to function,
legislation to outlaw any class of weapon simply ignores the fact that people
(criminals kill other people, guns or knives or poison, explosives are simply a tool those people selected to use!)
those people will always ignore laws, it's already illegal to commit murder

only a few people go out and purchased cases of ammo every month,
the problem here is not so much the 1000 cartridge a month limit is the certain fact,
that if they got a law like that, in place it would be a precedent,
set that would inevitably be constantly lowered and the required record keeping of who bought what ,
mandating a defacto firearm registration(which is the real goal)
that allows confiscation at some point! (which is the real goal)
and what the liberal left LOVES the mandating and funding and staffing of a new federal agency :facepalm: :crying:
and its absolute certain constant expansion,
constant need to add personnel and thus supervision and record keeping and regulation, licencing etc.
