those rare deals you found or allowed others to make, when you sold/bought parts/cars/tools etc.

most of us at one time or another have sold cars or related parts we later regreted parting with,
or maybe we had a buddy sell or give you a project car, or major components,
they were just fed up with working on,
, over whelmed with or frustrated with, and wanted to unload!
I know that in many cases in the past I just sold off parts , spare engines, transmission's, differentials, or even project cars,
that I just could not find the time, required parts or cash I needed to work on,
and I've certainly benefited at times from the sale of other peoples projects or parts inventory, \
due to their loss of a job, forced relocation, divorces, deaths in the family etc.
yeah, we all deal with life and changes we don't see coming in the projects we get involved with.
example
I certainly would not be selling off several rebuildable 454 chevy engines,
and I will be selling my 1985 corvette and a bunch of related parts
(I know that I will eventually regret that)
that I recent listed in the deals for sale section if I was not looking into moving,
and I would have jumped on a neighbors 1967 GTO he finally decided to sell recently,
If I was not in the process of moving in the near future!
so what project cars or deals have you made?
later regrated making?
or were pleased you could take advantage off that unexpectedly fell into your lap?

I regret all sales anything Auto truck related, but never had a place to keep it all as I never settled down till now.

My first was a Corvair on a tube chassis with a straight axle front end. 455 Olds engine with Muncey 4 speed and 5:13 Olds rear that was narrowed.

2nd was my High School car. '55 Chevy 2 door sedan with same as 1 St car power train. That one cost me to stay out of Va. for 5 years for racing against my Cousins Model A with a 392 Hemi.

3rd was 1964!Lincoln Town Car with suicide rear doors.

Wishing will never get it back.
