I' m cleaning house and I feel a little curious about one last project. A few years ago I had an 06 LBZ DuraMax truck stolen. A year later the truck was found untouched and I asked about buying the truck back from the insurance co. I got the truck back and was obviously under charged , but without any title. I have tried and exhausted every avenue to get the title and now it's at a dead end. I've been trying to come up with an idea what to do with everything. It's a complete truck, with just 50,000 miles. I have another just like it. How difficult would it be to make a resto-mod using the complete drivetrain and interior form this truck into an early model say a 1966 or early 70's Chevy? Would this be a desirable combo if I ever wanted to sell this down the road later? PA doesn't use a Bill of Sale system so I have to make something from a titled vehicle to ever sell it aside from parts. Any ideas?

Sounds really far out there Rich but I am willing to bet a Few RAT ROD GUYS would like to have your 06 Duramax Diesel engine & Transmission.
There is around $5 to $9k value in the engine, Allison Trans, Heavy Duty 1 ton full floating rear axle, wiring, ECM, ext. At least.
