Worth Watching Just For The Few Tips (632 Bbc Build)

Watching Grumpy.
They must be hill climbing Cliffs out West.
Those guys are nuts ? Unless they make it to the top they flip over a hundred times 2000 feet to the bottom.
Roll Race cage to say the least.

Nicely done Video.
I would have O-Ringed the Block Grumpy.
It's an Endurance High Output 632 BBC.
Known to pop headgaskets.
I would not trust MLS.
O-Ring with the Isky Tool.
Install the stainless wire.
Use SCE Race Copper headgaskets what you use.
The huge spec cam will be tamed down with huge cubes.
Behave like a 240-245 @.050 in a 383 -406 sbc.
Heads are nice. Will support over 900 Hp N/A.
Might crack 1000 Hp if VE IS 105 -110%.
The Big Tube headers key as we both know and correct design length with a Huge Collector. That beast will want 5.000 - 7.000" inches Twins collector.
Get enough air in.
Thinking around 2000 cfm easy.

The oil pan is low capacity for such a huge engine at 7 quarts Grumpy.
Usually fully dry sumped.
3 scavenge sections. 1 pressure section.
Remote oil tank with internal diffuser and lines all -12 AN Teflon lined race hose holding 18 quarts be ideal.

Needs a Canton or Moroso 2 quart oil Accumalotor at least.

yes a lot of people don,t understand that the lubrication system, cooling system and checking clearances is just or even more important than
just purchasing name brand glamour or bragging rights parts, like heads and intakes that are easy to spot.

I hear ya Grumpy.
It's going to be tight packaging in that old WILLY.
Have to build the Race headers while engine is installed.
No easy job.
Make it look way too easy on Tv.

Wow, their target is over 1000 hp N/A. That just seems crazy, but those heads flow astronomical numbers, and the cam is in the upper 800 on lift.

Hey Rick! Think we can make 1,000 hp for the street with a huffer ? Lol
1000 Hp is easy on Blueprint paper.
Finding the right engine block and parts and hardware is the challange.

I know the Recipe to the Crow GTO.
4780 Hp to the rear wheels.
Nothing real exotic.
It's expensive.
The real issue.

Mickey Thompson made an honest 1000 Hp with a GMC Huffer.
1962 year.
Pontiac V8....his own Hemi heads for them.
Still a few sets out there.
Different from 392 Hemi.
Partial based off of them.
