It might be the real deal.I could be wrong but if this block isn’t a warranty replacement and it has normal stampings then there is car out there missing its original motor and that equates to big bucks to a collector in need.
GM didn’t make many COPO Camaros and many of them blew their motors fast. BJackson said during a show that half the COPOs motors are replacements, but date correct 427s.
I’m not anywhere near qualified to judge this motor. I feel if this was any good it would be long gone by now. There are too many shops for thousands of miles around scouring CL for legitimate parts for need and flipping.
