I was sweeping the floor and found this near where I was building my 2004R and found this

Not as long as the rollers in the rear sprag and shorter than the pin in the pump.
I had several boxes of transmission parts from my friend who passed away, so maybe not something I left out.
Any ideas ?

Could it be from item 518 shown here ?
 
yeah...but was it left out during reassembly... or a spare part from inventory?
 
Looks like it could be one of the rollers in the one-way-clutch. I don't know how accurately you
measured, but I measured one from my inventory and got .3099 OD and .4018 long with my
Mitutoyo ball mike.
