yes and no!
Id just point out that some 496 bbc strokers built from 427-and-454 engines use 4.25" stroke cranks, and a 468 used the stock 4" stroke with a .060 over bore just like the 496 stroker, obviously the piston pin height changes also, as previously stated but they use the slightly longer 6.385" connecting rods, in place of the original 6.135" connecting rods , because stock rods won,t clear the counter weights and piston skirts and in some cases the rotating assembly INTERNALLY balanced , if so the INTERNALLY balanced crank assemblies going to require the matched internally balanced flywheel/flex plate and damper assembly
