A ghost just rear ended me fix

Many truck and SUV owners report that when they came to a stop it felt like someone just hit them in the rear, but nobody was there? It's not a barrel of monkeys that slid and hit the front bed wall, nor a pallet of bricks as some suggested. After several years of asking and no answers offered I'm down to the last idea that hasn't been tried . . . . .yet.
As I'm told when you brake to a moderate stop the rear suspension is contracting and settling back to a normal position. In that process there is movement in the slip yoke or the cv joint on the driveshaft that pulls out and pushes back in. When old lube sticks, contact can be lost on the edge of the splines and or contraction is delayed or held to one side or the other and causes this phenomenon I coin "The Ghost hit and run."
Supposedly, the fix is to clean out all old lube (some say to use brake cleaner) and relube everything with the drive shaft connections. I heard someone say to use Anti seize on the splines, I'm not sold on that at this time.
I needed my wife to use my truck on a few occasions and because of this problem she won't drive it acting as it does now. The next nice day I'll be on this task

while I can,t remember having felt that problem....

Please let us know if tour "fix" has a noticeable result/improvement
