things I noticed or failed to see , maybe missed in the tear down process
listen closely he points out several factors

the oil pump pick-up did not appear to be BRAZED to the pump,
I did not see a windage tray.
but there was a sturdy brace connecting the oil pump pick-up and bolted to the oil pump,
oil pump bolts were not safety wired
he did have an impressive large capacity baffled oil pan
he did use oil pan flange brace plates
I might have missed it but I did not see the main caps or the rods NUMBERED
they used a hydraulic roller cam with the factory type lifter retention spring
( chevy factory SPIDER) versus the potentially more durable aftermarket hydraulic lifter designs
they did not place the lifters and rockers in a numbered tray to make sure the parts were re-installed back in the original locations
I failed to see him inspect the rings and piston groove condition,
I failed to see him inspect the rockers for any potentially odd wear issues
but he's sure to do that later as he cleans parts
