I sold my sons 1992 corvette, a while ago

viewtopic.php?f=66&t=9767&p=37077&hilit=sons+1992#p37077

the main reason was I had no funds I could spare to work on the car and my son showed ZERO interest or desire to work on or maintain the car, or help out or contribute to its up keep or rebuilding it!
now a week or so later I get a call from a neighbor who had his 1993 corvette catch fire in his garage, he put the fire that started out because he had a garden hose handy and was working on the car at the time an electrical short started the fire, but he said hes now selling the parts as most of the front 1/3rd of the cars crispy burnt trash.
he had the vette up on jack stands with the tires off and the engine out, at the time , and the fire was the result of him accidentally turning on the fuel pump and an open fuel line pumping fuel onto the wiring, luckily only the vette took the majority of the damage, and he saved the drive train, but has some interior parts for sale.
I,m always sorry to hear about shop fires but the owner stated he saved the tires suspension and drive train so hes not all that upset.

I know where there is a 1965 Pontiac Lemans Grumpy. Convertible.
Been sitting. It ran last I knew.
Not far from me.
Guy loves Vintage pickups. 1930's-1950's.
Likes REO trucks for some reason.

Dana 60 rear be nice in that '65 Lemans. Your 496 BBC TOO.

Sometimes question practicality of my dream 87 vert 410 sbc 1957-58 Poncho 4-link rear project.
Say the hell with it......Yes I want it.....my way.

trust me when I tell you ID love nothing better than to drive up to see you and trailer back a 1965 lemans and that dana differential,
but under my current finances supporting myself, my wife, my mother in law, my son, his wife and the three grand kids on my pension and SS, it unfortunately just is not about to happen

At the rate things are going Grumpy,
Old fashioned barter system will be used again.
Why I mentioned old pickups.
This guy I know is crazy for them.
