It should be a thick wall cylinder block Pontiac 350 I bought since its a 1970 year.
Has the thick main webs also.

Really come alive with Boost or Nitrous a Pontiac 350.

congrats on finding and making a good purchase

Thanks Grumpy.
Low dollar projects are Fun.
Not everything has to be full drag race.

Running my DD2000 engine Simulations.
It's a difficult engine to get 100 Volumetric efficiency due to the smaller bore size of 3.876 inches.
Just like a 389 or 400 Pontiac otherwise with a 3.75 Inch crank stroke.

The Isky 280 Mega is best pick thus far I have found and Summit Racing stocks it.

It wants Big Valve heads and a bump in compression. Single plane intake to my surprise.

Post a Simulation soon with Isky 280 Mega Hyd. Cam and engine as is otherwise.
Pontiac Tripower 1965 Year with 780 CFM is just right size.
Wants open exhaust also small tube headers. Be 1-3/4" - 1-7/8" Primary tubes Pontiac D-port heads.
1-7/8" Be Hooker Super Competition 2nd Gen F body D-ports.

software dyno predictions are generally only close too accurate if all the info is valid in the input data
while the software dyno predictions are generally very useful ,
I find most people assume they will, be assuming they did everything correctly, few do!

Hold On Grumpy !

Be Valid as I can...No doctoring for 4750 HP !

no ones suggesting your data or results are not valid,
just that I would not take any software dyno prediction is likely to be spot-on
close, helpful, yes.

The Original DD2000 has been real accurate for street performance and mid level drag racers Grumpy in the Pontiac TA world when I was still analyzing cams & engine combos for them.
Drag strip verified and using Wallace Racing to reverse math check Torque & Hp.
I was within 10-20 HP accuracy !

Better than that other guy going Eany, Meany, Mini, Moe for the entire Trans Am World ! Real Fake News B.S. !

I used 1.65:1 Rockers Grumpy.
Factory stock only on Pontiac super Duty 421 engine, 1969-1970 Pontiac RAIV 400.
Have an original set GM RAIV. made for 7/16" studs only used in RAIV & ultra rare RA5.

Set of Crane Energizer 1.65 or Scorpion 1.65 to keep costs down.
Ford Winsdor 302-351 fit right on to a Pontiac V8 perfect.

Look at Crower later and Crane Grinds Grumpy.
Listed also .050" lift events IVO, IVC, EVO, & EVC on Ron's Pontiac Website.
What I prefer to work with.

Like Isky.
Easy on valvetrain parts.
Reliable.
Top Notch quality like Crower and Crane.

Not going to get 500 Ft/lbs torque without Edelbrock Round Port Heads used on a Pontiac 350 N/A.
Or using my 1970 RAIV 614's...those for the 70 T/A.

They show up used lightly E heads Pontiac.
Timing has to be right.
main funds dedicated to TA in 2019.
