IT says they are gear-less in design and will allow very minimal swing radia's torque applications
On the packaging, Kobalt boasts that the new Direct Drive ratchet can work with a swing arc as small as 0°, while common consumer-grade 36-tooth ratchets require 10° of swing to be of any use.

The Kobalt Direct Drive gearless ratchet is indeed stepless and can be used with as small of a swing arc as I could manage. Once the ratchets hit stores, the “try me” feature on the packaging will surely convince a lot of tool uses and gift-givers to take one home.

I wouldn’t technically call this a 0° ratchet, but the minimal swing is immeasurably small and even less than 1°.

No Grumpy. Looks like a Handy set .
Kobalt has a good Rep wiith contractors.
Ratchet looks too large to manuver easy in todays cramped engine bays.

Like my Snap On ratchets Expensive $.

I just picked one up today....

Here's a short video of it in it's clever packaging.

Seems to work well and feels nice. The sockets seem a bit thin and light though.

Say's it has a life time wrench and socket warranty.

The head of the ratchet is a bit larger than a SnapOn for sure..

I am mostly working on late model diesel trucks at my new job.
Terrible cramped engine bays too.
At least no Flat Rate Pay & by the hour 40 hours a week.
I have used HUSKY brand tools. Not too bad.
