bbc into gto engine swap??

So my dad gave me a couple of engines. I now have a 402 and a 454... So I am absolutely pulling the girl card right now and admitting I have no idea where to start. My dad doesn't want to build them but he has a friend that will that is suppose to be really good. I want to put most my money into the 454 and go cheaper on the 396/402, but could someone give me a parts list and price est on build for the 402 build? The 454 will hopefully go into a 1968 GTO and I really like a 68' c10. Can a 402 go into a 68'c10? Is that a dumb idea to do? LOL I love old cars but no nothing about them. Thanks men!

Id suggest your first step is to decide what you want to have once your done, and maybe give us some idea as to budget , where your located and if you can do part or any of the mechanical work yourself and post casting numbers on the block and heads so we know what your working with.

I build several big blocks every year for the local guys and it would be very helpful to know what your transmission and rear gear ratio.
