KING, COMP CAMS, CLEVITE, and a couple more sources are available, for those spacers and yes several appear to be re-cut bearing shells, but considering the requirements and space limitations I can,t see where they could be built a great deal differently

IVE re-used the same set of spacers for several engine rebuild with no problems for a friends 377 SBC
naturally youll need new bearings and BTW never GLUE them or put anything UNDER the spacers, or between the spacers and bearings as clearances, bearing crush, and heat transfer are critical

Thanks!
This engine is modeled after one you profiled on HybridZ, "the "350" chevrolet should have built".

I will be using a forged 327 crank, 6" H-beam rods, SRP forged flattops, and an aluminum flywheel.
The heads are aluminum, angle plug, big valve, No name on them
Cam is a "Howards" mechanical roller, "286 advertised, 242@ .050, LSA 110". A matching "Howard's" spring and retainer kit is also on the build sheet. Cam will be driven with a gear drive.
I have 1.6 and 1.5 ratio roller rockers, not sure which I will use. I also have a set of rocker stud journals that will be installed to stabilize the valve train at high RPM.
Breathing will be handled with a Wiend 7546 manifold and 750 Holley.
I hope this setup is not to far out of whack. We'll see.

Thanks Grumpy!

ID suggest you try the 1.6:1 ratio rockers on the intakes and 1.5:1 on the exhaust, in many cases thats what works best
