I briefly stopped by a car show, today with my brother-in-law while he was driving his COBRA replica , and it was at a Lamborghini dealership, parking lot.
like most of you guys Ive been to several car shows in the past, but Ive rarely felt like I was intruding by simply looking at the cars before, and I doubt there were over 7-8 American built cars on the whole dealership, most were vipers or new corvettes,
now obviously the idea was to have a bit more car enthusiast traffic stroll thru the dealership and look over the new cars and while Im sure there are those that can afford one the prices ranged from $260K -to -$510K and it was all too obvious that if the car you drive was not a Lamborghini or maybe a Ferrari that you were looked on as the mere human trash that was being regrettably allowed on premiss as there were carefully placed signs on nearly every car in the show room, in several locations stating that you were not allowed to touch the cars, sit in the cars.
American built "TRASH" on display ,was mostly restricted to the back lot of the dealerships parking lot,and there was very limited participation (maybe because most of the potential people that might have showed up had gone thru this before).
and from the look of the sales staff, don,t bother to ask the sales staff questions unless you were really interested in immediately buying a car.
they had a display case with your typical base ball caps you can buy almost anyplace with your team of choice logo embroidered on it , the type summit ships you free with a larger order, as a promo, MARKED SALE $50 EACH
I just looked those up on line!
