Bob, in your experience…

As the body is off for a respray I need to focus on the rolling stock so's that all I need to do is drop the body on it.

I was going to put a direct-fit brake fluid reservoir, thicker front and rear bars, better shock-dampers, a new steering absorber… and possibly an adjustable front. Balljoint to be checked...

I have never driven a stock KG or Beetle. The one I have was a hack-job lowering: several leaves removed from both torsion packs. So I have no clue what stock is like. I imagine a KG is fun to drive stockfish?

I understand urethane is noisy and not worth it.

It's a 1971 with IRS and from discs.

My question is this… in your experience, what should be done to make this car handle well and be fun to drive?

THANKS!

Have You looked at J.C. Whittney & see what they offer for the Kharma Ghia Dorien ?
