I am looking at Lunati part# 60132/60133 VooDoo solid roller. My engine program shows quite a bit of gain in both HP and TQ with less overlap than my current cam; 77 vs 61. I run this motor with 91 octane and have had no issues thus far. I am a little worried about detonation with the lower overlap number. Car weighs 3940, 3000 stall, 3.73 gears.

IM curious?
what cam are you currently using?
why do you want to change?
what do you expect to gain with the change?
and ON that application ID be using a RPM AIR GAP DUAL PLANE INTAKE

heres some useful info

it would appear that that cam will result in a dynamic compression ratio over 9:1 which will have increased your chances of getting into detonation a good deal

this cam Ive linked too below seems to be a better match, but Id install even that cam retarded 4 degrees and it would still be slightly prone to detonation, and in that application ID use the dual plane intake, why not have a long talk with the tech guys at lunati and discuss it
