the guy in the videos obviously either clueless or this is a planned humor/joke video,
I was in a gunshop once , as a part time job, and a guy walks in with a remington 870 shotgun, the thing STUNK, and was covered with thin black STICKY SLIME... he asked to have it checked as it frequently jammed...
we ask what he used for lubricant... he said CRISCO....
we just told him to take it to a local self service car wash and thoroughly pressure clean it , before we would work on it.
he never came back, so no loss, but I often wondered if the gun fell apart, or was repairable
Im sure he would have freaked out at the repair costs... probably way more than he paid for that old shotgun,
back in the early 1970s when this happened you could occasionally buy a used 870 for about $120
