changing rear differntial fluid

most guys know too change engine oil, but many don,t realize the differential fluid wears out after time also, if you have over 80K miles its in need if replacement. and its probably adding heat, friction and costing you horsepower

I found a tremendous difference in the quietness and smoothness of operation in my 87 vette by just changing the differential fluid to royal purple synthetic fluid.

thats not at all rare< I had my rear differential and manual transmission fluid changed in my road runner , after it had 120K and there was a very noticeable difference in how the car sounded and how easily it shifted gears after the fresh lubricants were used
