Hi Grumpy,
I'm in the process of getting parts together for a head/cam install later this fall on my 1996 Vette LT1. I want to change the damper while I'm in there that deep and want something better than stock. I'm looking at the ATI I believe it is but I was told the engine had to be removed to install one or take it out later down the road. Can't it just be jacked up far enough by loosening the mounts? I'm also looking at some from Jegs that appear to be more along the lines of a stock one but more of a performance one. I just have to order a hub also.
Any other suggestions? There dosen't seem to be many options other than stock. I guess maybe it is because of the CPX sensor.
