I happened to stop by home depot today, in the front they had a bargain area with bunches of cheap tools and they had work lights that are about 7" long and 1.1" in diameter with 16 LED bulbs very similar to this light I linked to on cards for $4.99 each they require 3 AAA batteries but they work, are bright and at $5 each are well worth the cost

the package says

defiant mini LED work light #1000 017 389

drop lights that are bulky or require an electrical outlet can be a P.I.T.A. to use, but having a pair, that you can drop in a pocket and almost forget your carrying is an advantage.
some times you find a tool that makes your job a bit less of a problem and its not all that expensive, to acquire, or difficult to use or maintain.

For $5 each I have to stop by Home Depot soon Grumpy.
I keep losing favorite flashlights.
Many times there us no subsitute for a good flashlight.
See & inspect areas on trucks & cars from reach with a drop light 2-3. feet away.
Only my old Corded 120Vac Flourescent Snap On drop lights have lasted me for the last 4 years.
Hard to misplace or lise them too.

Did you buy any extras for those over 60 yo, you know the ones that
really need the extra light.

I don't know if you noticed, but I'm 60 yo know!

I don't know about 60 Rick. 44 myself.
Phil is the young Buck Hotrodder.
Cheap flashlight . Grumpy says it works. I want a couple of them.

You and Phil don't need no stinking light, good mechanics can see with
their finger tips. Many times I've worked on something I can't see, like
up under the dash or in some crevice around some corner in the engine
compartment that only your hand hand reach! :p

I know the T-bucket is small .
Tight to work on at times.
But the Power to Weight Ratio is excellent.
Big Fat Mickey Flame tires out back.
Engine broken in gently. Tuned. Last final bugs worked out....
Its going to be Lightning Fast Rick.
Suck your Eyeballs into the back of your skull.
Cruise anywhere . Anytime.
Relive what the WW2 Avatipn mechanics did after 1946.
Where Modern Day Hotrodding Began.

as with every tool I find that works, like these dirt cheap lights
I,m convinced beyond words that it will be discontinued ,almost immediately now that I own one.
now that I found it works,
so be sure you stock up as they are 100% sure too no longer have them in in few weeks!
