difference in oil flow by swapping valve train, components

now this is on a 460 ford engine in the video, but the same deal,
(that varying components have a pronounced effect on oil flow rates)
applies on all engines,

swapping the components and what you might consider minor clearance changes can have a huge effect on both durability and in oil flow and cooling rates.
more oil flow generally aids cooling and lubrication ,but its also going to reduce your oil pressure gauge readings
keep in mind oil pressure is a gauge reading the liquids resistance to flowing through those clearances.
simply using a dial caliper , before your engine assembly during the pre-assembly process...can give you a great deal of the relate info.

Isky lifters last 2 builds
Longer than that If You Buy The Isky Red Zone Race Lifters with EZ Rollerless bearing option. Uses Ampco bronze Bearing.
Morel was best but guys had failures.
Especially Big Block Chevy because the Pushrod angles are murder on lesser lifters.
Isky is back to #1.

Also where a Pontiac V8 and Small Block Chevy has Advantages.
Easy on Valvetrain parts for Superior Endurance.

That roller lifter wheel fails and the entire engine is destroyed in seconds.
Nothing left to reuse.
Garbage dumpster good only.

Where Flat Tappet Solid has advantage.
Lobe fails engine is salvagable.
Buy Isky Race Flat Rapper Solid no worries.

Yes need to monitor valve train when running solid roller part of the game, rev kit can help but robs power also. But paying attention and keeping a squedual of documenting valve train will keep it together too. Race engine is just that needs to be treated as such. Or you can float a valve or any other number of things can happen. Why Grumpy says most guys want safe zone build and drive change oil.

That is every single Corvette ever built Safe Zone except the 1967-1969 L88.

Watched Chevy's Safe Zone at work.
Dodge Won.
