does anyone have rather extensive experience/knowledge about heavy duty sewing machines?
I looked on amazon, searched "best quality heavy duty sewing machines" and there's many dozens of options!

Id like to do a bit of custom upholstery work and sew heavy fabrics,
1000 denier nylon and fake leather seat covers, heavy canvas etc.
keep in mind, I have almost no experience here , but I need some suggestions
and obviously the selected sewing machine must be VERY simple to set up and use. :like:
as I have rather limited skill and knowledge in this particular area ,"YET"

and yes I have regularly jumped into learning new skills and there's obviously a learning curve,
if your not willing to learn new skills your always going to be totally dependent on and forced to pay those people who have the required tools and skill and experience to do the work you need done!!
(and usually pay a significant fee to have things done correctly )
but I learned long ago that having decent quality tools is a huge asset!

yes obviously there are less expensive options, but I want simplicity and increased durability,
and spending an extra $100 or so, to have that simplicity and increased durability, is well worth the extra cost, in my opinion

is something like this linked option a decent choice!
