HI, I am having my engine rebuilt at a shop and am thinking of using the edelbrock #60879 60cc. heads.

I have no idea what cam to look for to get a few more hp
the cam you select will need to match the engines intended power band and rpm range , so youll need to calculate the compression and know the rear gear ratio and converter stall you need also
. I would appreciate any help and advice.
Roller rocker ratio for the heads to buy and what type of pushrods should i get ? hardened ? I will be retaining the stock tpi setup. Can I use roller lifters with this setup? so many questions ????
push rods are select to match the application, and required length, to get the proper geometry and youll need to verify clearances, ID suggest selecting a cylinder head that allows at LEAST a .600 lift with .650 being a better choice, spring load rated will be different if you select a roller lifter style cam, but yes you can select roller rockers with either flat tappet or roller cams
