many guys buy these as thier dirt cheap and reasonably easy to use to stabilize an engine for transport to the machineshop, but many guys weld up thier own version or add a low mount point on an engine stand for ease of transport and safety in the shop from being easily tipped, Ive even seen guys build custom carts
