I like the sound of true dual exhausts, but I REALLY like the sound of true Quad exhausts. I have seen Stahl 360 degree headers, and I can see those being used to feed four separate exhaust paths, but they take up SO much room, and are SO long, which I think will lead to higher low RPM torque, but hinder higher RPM power. I believe if the exhaust ports were switched to the top of the engine between banks, the 1 and 6, 8 and 5, 4 and 7, and 3 and 2 pairings could be more compact. I also have an idea about using one catalytic converter to keep the four pairs' exhaust paths separate, so that the four tailpipes will each have distinct notes, as true duals do.
