if your tracking down a minor miss fire or stumble it won,t hurt to lube and clean the injectors and check the electrical connections and replace the fuel filter, check the engine grounds, and pull codes
IVE NEVER SEEN any injector cleaner screw up ANY injectors if you dumped a can or two into a full tank of high test fuel, injector cleaners are typically made from a mix of solvents and lubricants, a diluting a couple ounce,s in 15 gallons of high test in your tank as its designed to be used and running the car as its designed to be run, will not hurt a darn thing, but it might break up crud in the injector, add a few ounces of marvel mystery oil as a injector and upper valve train lube to the fuel tank

If you find the injectors need replacing ,injectors normally cost between about $240-$400 for a set of 8, installing them YOURSELF takes under an hour and very little skill, and no special tools

most of the gauges and engine grounds are connected by 3 wires to a bolt on the rear of the drivers side cylinder head.

as to injector cleaners I generally use any two of these, and follow directions on the label, adding any two to a fresh tank of high test usually makes a noticeable difference in how the engine runs by the time the tanks 2/3rds empty
